WHITESTOWN — The Whitestown Democratic Committee has endorsed Marianne Buttenschon for the 119th Assembly district.

The 119th District is currently served by outgoing Assemblyman Anthony Brindisi.

Buttenschon believes Whitestown Democrats supported her because of her stand on issues.

“Winning Whitestown is crucial,” she said. “It is the largest town in the 119th. The Whitesboro Central School District is the largest school system outside of Utica and Rome. Earning the support of Whitestown Democrats is a necessary step to becoming the candidate who succeeds Anthony Brindisi in the New York State Assembly.”
