Buttenschon endorsed by Oneida County Conservative Party

The Conservative Party of Oneida County has endorsed Assembly candidate Marianne Buttenschon, her campaign announced Friday.

Buttenschon, a Democrat, is running to represent the 119th Assembly District, which includes parts of Oneida and Herkimer counties. She was previously endorsed by the county’s Independence Party and the Town of Whitestown Democratic Committee, with additional support from the Democratic Women’s Club of Oneida County.

“My campaign is founded on our need for good jobs, good schools and safe communities- all fundamental objectives of the Conservative Party,” Buttenschon said in a statement. “I will work to cut the high taxes and excessive regulation that are killing our economy. I will make sure our tax dollars return to the Mohawk Valley to educate our children. And I will do what I have always done- support the uniformed law enforcement, firefighters and first responders who answer every call.”
